Louise spoke to Cynthia about several aspects of health consumerism, in particular those concerning people coming to Australia from diverse cultural backgrounds. This included:

- Workshops that HCC runs with the aim of educating providers and health consumers from CaLD backgrounds
- What some rights and responsibilities in health care are and why it’s important to know about them
- The impact of our culture on our delivery of healthcare and also how we receive it
