During 2023 and 2024, we listened to our members, other health consumers, our partners and stakeholders to inform our refreshed strategic plan.
While there’s no dramatic shift of direction, there are three significant changes from the previous plan:
- We have been explicit about the fact that our vision and purpose go beyond healthcare, and extend to aiming to improve health outcomes more generally
- We have strengthened the language to reiterate our belief in people power, consumer partnership and leadership
- We have reaffirmed our aim that everyone in WA experiences equitable person-centred healthcare and improved health outcomes and experience – meaning we will be focusing on increasing the resources available to enable us to do that.
