As WA’s peak body for health consumers, we are often approached for comment by news outlets. Here’s a snapshot of some recent coverage:
- Executive Director Clare Mullen attended the ABC Perth Election Special event and asked Roger Cook – what if WA were to become the healthiest state in Australia?
- On the radio again, we were invited to share a consumer lens on the findings of the Productivity Commission into public hospitals in Australia, and WA specifically
- We discussed the need to keep improve efficiency in hospitals, as well as improving access to healthcare in the community – i.e. more aged care options – and increasing the focus on prevention
